The Moroccan Association of Australia (MAA) is a not-for-profit organisation established in 2011 to answer a need in the Moroccan community and further promote Morocco and its culture in Australia.

1. To provide ways for its Moroccan members, within the Australian community, to gather in a social context through various organised events.
2. To endeavour to provide support and assistance when and if possible to those within the Moroccan community, who may be in need.
3. To further promote the rich and diverse Moroccan culture and traditions to the wider Australian community.
4. To create a community space to use as a central hub and meeting place for its members and guests.

Celebration of the 2017 African Nite in Sydney New South Wales Australia.
Organised by Liverpool Western Sydney Migrant Resource Centre (Rashid is the Vice Chair).
Leading community this evening is Sydney Moroccan Association.
Key Note speaker: His excelency Mr Karim Medrek Kingdom of Morocco Embassador to Australia New Zealand & Pacific Islands.

Diner & food chaired by celebrity Chef Mr Hassan M’Souli.
Fashion Show & amazing Moroccan show display by Mme Nejma M’Souli.
Marketing & Media by Western Sydney Resources Center Marketing Manager, Mme Nadia Bouchti.
All directed by Moroccan Association board & African community leaders in Sydney.
