Nearly a million of MRE welcomed in different maritime, air and land access points

About million Moroccans living abroad were welcomed to July 16 at the level of the different sea access points, air and land since the launch of the Marhaba 2017 operation. This year, they are 20 home sites that have been activated and a staff of almost 1,000 people mobilized in order to ensure the best conditions of transit for our fellow citizens from abroad.
A total of 968.096 Moroccans living abroad (MRE) were welcomed to July 16 at the level of the different access Points Sea, air and land since the launch of operation Marhaba 2017, according to the Mohammed V Foundation for solidarity. The flow of this year that date is growing in terms of arrivals of 5.36% from 2016, said the Foundation in a statement sent Monday to the MAP, noting that 452.559 people joined the mother country by air and 515.537 by sea, the home site of the remaining Port Tanger Med the access point used with a 30% share of arrivals. A strong turnout will be saved from the third week of July, which corresponds to the major departures from the summer holidays, noted release, noting that since it was started on 5 June, the Marhaba 2017 home of MRES operation continues in good conditions, thanks to the resources deployed and the provisions taken in application of high Royal instructions. With regard to social and medical assistance 28.962 people were accompanied by medical and social teams, adds the Foundation, stating that 4.157 people have been helped medically (medical care and support), while 24.805 cases are related to administrative, transport and legal assistance.

The Foundation ensures that their home through a device that counts 20 space (5 divided between France, the Italy and the Spain and 15 national sites in ports, airports and the rest areas), including 3 new sites launched this year in the port of Motril South of the Spain and Tangier-city, as well as the Marrakech Menara airport to accompany the increase flow. Hospitality is provided by a service of social and medical assistance available at all times in order to accompany and to cover situations that may arise and to respond to the needs of relief help and information. The Foundation as well as all partners and stakeholders in the Marhaba device remain engaged so that the operation takes place in the best conditions, said the same source.
